Some great toys ideas for this holiday season.
Well, it’s that time of year again when children are inundated with commercials selling the latest and greatest toy for Christmas. And while many of them have their merits, so do the old stand bys. In fact, this year you might want to consider some classics for your child’s wish list. These are the toys that never go out of style says Nicholas Long, Co-author of Parenting the Strong Willed Child.
These can be things such as doll houses, puppets, things such as little animals in a play farm, they can be store-keeping toys, or toys that involve kitchen activities, they can be things such as sidewalk chalk, or finger paints or sand boxes and sand toys. Things that really allow a child to create things without having to follow a specific instruction of how to put something together.
