Time Challenged Parents

How to find family time in and around your busy work schedule.

Time Challenged Parents

If there is one thing you wish you had more of, what would it be? Money comes to mind for most of us of course, but another thing many parents would relish is a few more hours in the day. Since that’s impossible, the next best thing would be flexible work hours so that parents can spend more time with their kids.

Nora Spinks, CEO for the Vanier Institute for the Family explains that today’s families are struggling with time issues, there’s still only 24 hours in a day. Time has always been a commodity and so being able to purchase more vacation or have more flexibility or start and end times, to be able to split your workday between day and night so you can be with your kids after school and evenings is important. Those kinds of things are becoming much more popular and more readily available across all sectors, all industries; getting to work, getting things done, and having enough time for family and friends.
