My boy was diagnosed at 2 months old with Asthma- I refused long term use of any cortizone and we worked out he uses Berotech & Atrovent via Nebulizer and it has been brilliant in controlling his asthma- I was on cortizone for years previously and had side effects so I didn't want to subject my boy to that. Check out alternatives is my advise. Regards Michele
