New Moms and Sleep

The number one need for mothers of newborns.

New Mom’s and Sleep

Having a new baby sure changes everything and everyone. That little bundle demands a lot of a mother’s attention and rightfully so.  New babies can have new moms up and caring for them at any time day or night, which is why most new mothers have one thing on their mind and it’s not how they look says Kaz Cook, author of A Bun in the Oven. “The magazines tell us that our biggest problem should be getting back to your pre-baby weight, but I think just most people really crave sleep. So just be easy on yourself.  Treat yourself as if you were your own best friend.  I think new parents, women especially, expect so much from themselves.  They expect to look well groomed, to have a perfect, quiet baby, to freeze all the right foods and have them in the fridge, but it’s just going to be a bit of a schmazzle for a while.”
